What GotOneMate is

GotOneMate is a place for people to post wanted adverts and for others to reply. We are not a party to any deal between members. We don't own, inspect or guarantee any item, and we don't handle payments. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own deals.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• We can suspend or close accounts that break our rules.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to show it on GotOneMate and in our promotion of the site. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, misleading or abusive. We may remove content at any time.

Finder's rewards

If you offer a finder's reward on your ad, you're promising to pay it to the person who finds the item for you, once you've got it or have been put in touch with someone who has it. You pay the reward directly to the finder. GotOneMate doesn't collect, hold or guarantee rewards.

• When you mark an ad with a reward as found, you must say who found it. If more than one person helped, you can pick them all and the reward is split equally between them. Each person will be asked to confirm they've been paid.
• If you replied to an ad and believe you found the item but weren't picked, use the "Did you find this for them?" link on the ad. We'll check the replies and messages and decide.
• Members who have paid rewards get a "Rewards paid ✓" badge on their ads.
• If a finder tells us they haven't been paid, you won't be able to post new ads until they confirm payment, and you can't delete that ad.
• If you don't pay a reward you offered, or you falsely say nobody found the item to avoid paying, we will ban your account and remove your ads.
• Finders must be honest too. Falsely reporting a reward as unpaid will also get you banned.
• Only arrange rewards through GotOneMate messages so we can see what was agreed if there's a dispute. Our decision on whether to ban an account is final, but it doesn't affect any legal rights you have against each other.

Our liability

We provide GotOneMate as it is. We aren't liable for losses arising from deals between members, from items bought or sold, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version here.
